RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS Gymnastics is a sport which teaches skills for life, including independence, focus and self-discipline-skills that can assist with self esteem, learning and physical development.

PARENT JUNIOR GYM 3.5 - 5 years
- 1 hour recreational gymnastics program which parents participate in
- A transitional program from kindergym to junior gym which involves the parents participation.
- Children learn all the fundmental bodyshapes, lead up drills, basic gymnastics and trampoline skills
- A progressive program where children are placed into colours based on their age and ability.
Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesday 1pm
JUNIOR GYM 4 - 6 years
- 1 hour recreational gymnastics program which is independent of the parent
- A progressive program where children are placed into colours based on their age and ability. Children are assessed every 2nd term to determine if they are ready to move onto the next colour
- Fundamental skills of gymnastics are introduced in a fun setting

GYM * 7-12 yrs
- 1 hour recreational gymnastics program
- Teaches the fundamental skills of gymnastics in a challenging environment
- Focusses on accomplishing skills on 10 apparatus – Body Shapes, Control Skills, Floor Rolls, Beam,
- Single Mini Trampoline, Single Bar, Parallel Bars, Rings, Pommel Horse, Vault.
- A progressive program where children commence the program in G badge and can then progress to Y, M & Star badge when they meet the criteria
- Assessments occur once per term in a non threatening environment
7 - 9 yrs 9 - 12 yrs

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
- A program designed to nurture promising gymnasts who display a natural talent for the sport of gymnastics
- A separate program is available for both males and females
- Program is by selection only. A try out day is scheduled once per term. Please contact reception for further information.
- It simply is a program to fast track promising gymnasts and provide them with an opportunity to develop their skills.
- Catering for females aged 5- 9 years & males aged 5-12 years.

ACROFUN – 7 – 12 yrs
1.5 hour program for children who have either completed the GYM* program or children who have advanced skills in gymnastics
- The program is a lot of fun but also very challenging and includes trampolines, tumbling, acrobatics and traditional gymnastics.
- A progressive program where children commence the program on A badge and can then progress to C,R,O,F,U &N badge when they meet the criteria.
- Assessments occur every 2nd term in a non threatening environment.

TEEN GYMNASTICS AND TRAMPOLINING – 12- 18yrs
- 1.5 hour program
Learn new skills and improve your strength and general fitness
- Lots of challenges and fun incorporated into the program
- All traditional gymnastics equipment is included as well as trampolining and a strength and conditioning program.
- Program is available for both males and females.
Thursday 6pm Friday 5.30pm
What to wear:
Comfortable exercise clothing (preferably your club t-shirt which is provided at the time of registering). No jewellery - stud earrings only please. Long hair for children to be tied back at all times. Belts or clothing made from denim is not acceptable.
Program Costs:
Programs have two methods of paying per class or school terms. Please see staff for further information on fee policies.
Fees are based on a 10 week term and may vary per term. Ask reception about discounts for family members.
